Most brackets used for window box cages aren't set up to fit wrought iron fence rails. For our metal wrought iron flower boxes we offer railing shelf brackets sold in pairs just for this purpose (works with any flat-bottomed container). Coated in textured black powder coat, these brackets fit most fence railings. The contemporary style of these brackets allows them to blend seamlessly in with the window box resting upon them. Use one bracket for every 24-inches in length of your wrought iron window box cage. The adjustable clamps underneath the bracket allow for a level fit against the balusters or uprights; while the hook above supports the entire piece without marring the railing.
